A quantity of ganja was, on Thursday, found in the vicinity of School Street, Mahdia, Region 8, during a police operation.
Police stated that during the operation, detectives carried out a search in an abandoned yard in the area and found a bulky black plastic bag containing nine transparent plastic bags with cannabis.
The cannabis was taken to the Mahdia Police Station, where it was weighed and amounted to 945 grams. No arrests were made as police continued their investigations.
