Police say at about 10:00h. yesterday, Friday, ranks of the Guyana Police Force (GPF), acting on information received, searched a house at Powis Street, East La Penitence and found fifty one kilograms of suspected cannabis, along with a .38 revolver with two matching rounds.
A female is in custody assisting with the investigation.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, according to a police media release, ranks, acting on information received, searched a house at Lamaha Place, South Ruimveldt and found 69 rounds of live ammunition. A female is in custody assisting with the investigation.
