The Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) will face defending champions Rangpur Riders in the ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League (GSL) on Friday following a convincing win against Hobart Hurricane on Wednesday evening.
Earlier on Wednesday, the defending champions booked their spot in the finals after defeating Dubai Capitals by 8 runs.
Batting first, the RR managed to score 158 for 5 and went on to topple the DC for 150. However, on Wednesday evening, the GAW sent the Hobart Hurricanes packing.
Batting first, the Australian T20 champions scored 125 in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, the Guyanese franchise secured victory with more than three overs to spare .
With a convincing win, the Warriors are gunning to win their first GSL title on Friday evening at the Guyana National Stadium.
The action is set to commence at 19:00h and is expected to be a sold-out crowd.
