Chairman of Region One (Barima-Waini) Brentnol Ashley has testified to the massive progress taking place across all communities within the region.
“There isn’t a village across Region One that have not seen or witnessed any transformation or development…every single village now is being transformed and is on the path to prosperity,” Ashley said.
He made the remarks today at a public meeting hosted by the People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPP/C) in Moruca, Region One.
“Let us continue on this path, let us continue the work that has started,” the Regional Chairman said.
He reflected on the progress in the health and education sectors in the region as well as the opportunities for upliftment for locals.
He reminded that residents now have opportunities to advance themselves in a number of areas including as health professionals or trained educators.
In this regard, Ashley urged residents to ensure they play their part on September 1 to ensure the PPP/C is victorious by a large margin, so that the progress can continue.
