Ranks of the Guyana Police Force (GPF), early this morning arrested two cousins, ages 20 and 36 years, at their Turkeyen’s apartment with over eighty-seven pounds of compressed cannabis sativa (marijuana).
Police say that at about 00:30h. this morning, ranks acting on information received went to the duo’s Second Street, Turkeyen apartment and conducted a search which unearthed twenty-six taped parcels in a bag, hidden in a plastic barrel, in one of the rooms, weighing almost forty-four kilograms. The suspects are likely to appear in court today.
