A male foreign national and a female are expected to appear before a magistrate today for the possession of narcotics.
The Guyana Police Force said the couple had 27kg of cannabis in their apartment building at Eccles Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara.
It was discovered during an intelligence-led operation by ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch on Monday.
