Diamond resident accused of breaking into house remanded

[www.inewsguyana.com] – A handy man of Lot 209 Diamond, East Bank Demerara was remanded to prison by Magistrate Annette Singh for the offence of breaking and entering.

Forty-three-year-old Wilfred Tinny pleaded not guilty to the charge, which alleged that on the night of May 18 at Diamond, East Bank Demerara, he broke and entered the house of Lloyd Muesa and stole one non alcoholic wine and five louver panes together value $3,100.

Police Prosecutor Adduni Innis successfully opposed bail for Tinny on the grounds that he has no fixed place of abode. Bail was denied and the matter was adjourned to June 04.
