The government will be removing corporate taxes on agriculture and agro-processing businesses, Finance Minister Dr Ashni Singh has announced.

This commitment was previously made by President Dr Irfaan Ali.

According to Dr Singh, this measure is intended to enable greater investments to boost productivity in the sector.
