The Bank of Guyana today (Wednesday) launched the $50 bill and two commemorative coins in honour of Guyana’s 50th Independence anniversary.
Finance Minister Winston Jordon, noted that he feels privileged that he is able to sign the note that will be part of Guyana’s history. The coins were designed by a Norwegian team. (Photos by Carl Croker)
