Police have launched an investigation into the death of an 18-year-old called “Boyo”, a carpenter of Number 71 Village, Corentyne, Berbice, whose body was found in a trench within the same community.
The discovery was made on Monday afternoon.
INews understands that investigators are currently treating the case as a drowning.
