[www.inewsguyana.com]Guyana Defence Force (GDF) investigators are currently checking for ten 7.62 x 39mm rounds that went missing from the Guard Room of the Colonel John Clarke Military School at Tacama, Upper Berbice River.

According to a statement from the GDF, a separate Board of Inquiry has been established to report on any breaches of the Standing Operating Procedures for the handling and accounting for ammunition at that training location.

It was noted that the Force has since conducted checks that accounted for all other ammunition held at the Colonel John Clarke Military Training School, Tacama.
