[www.inewsguyana.com] – An arrest warrant was this morning (March 3) issued for Samuel Hinds Junior, after he failed to show up in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court to answer a charge of unlawful wounding and threatening behaviour to his female companion, Tenza Lane.
The Court heard that Hinds Jr on February 27 at Duke Street Kingston, he and Lane were involved in an argument that turned into a scuffle and both of them were injured in the process.
Lane was also slapped with charges of assault causing actual bodily harm and two counts of threatening behaviour meted out to Hinds Jr and Lane’s sister.
None of the parties were in court today and the Magistrate issued the arrest warrant for Hinds Jr while summoning the defendant to Court.
The matter was immediately transferred to Court Ten for report and fixture.
