Armed bandits rob Western Union

[www.inewsguyana.com]Customers at Western Union, Harbour Bridge Mall, East Bank Demerara are still in a state of shock after three armed bandits put them to lie on the floor face down and robbed them on Monday afternoon, December 23.

iNews understands that the three men were standing in line pretending to be customers when they decided to pounce. iNews understands that the gunmen escaped with millions of dollars from the tellers. Manager of the Branch Paul Fraser says the branch has never been robbed before.

He told iNews that there were no security cameras in the office.  As a result of the robbery, he will now implement more security measures. Fraser said that he will take the security of his business in his own hands.
