Michael Paul of Albertown Georgetown appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Beharry charged with threatening and abusive language.
Paul pleaded not guilty to the offences. It is alleged that on July 24 at Durban Street Georgetown he assaulted Chandrani Baldeo and when her father Krishna Baldeo tried to intervene, the accused threatened him.
Michael Paul was placed on $25,000 bail with his next court date set for July 30. [Royan Abrams]
