67 motorcycles seized in police operation

The Guyana Police Force (GPF) has announced that it seized and lodged some 67 motorcycles following an operation between Sunday and Monday.

The Force said a party of police from Regional Division 4A conducted a mass patrol, cordon and search exercise in several areas in the division.

During the operation, the motorcycles along with 11 pedal cycles and two laptops were seized and lodged.

A total of 23 persons were taken into custody as investigations continue.
