A middle-aged man, was today (Wednesday), arraigned at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts to answer to two counts of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl earlier this year.
Robin Marks, 50, of Norton Street, Georgetown, was not required to plead to the charges which stated that in February, he allegedly sexually assaulted the child on two occasions by touching her breasts and kissing her on the lips, before attempting to bribe her into secrecy by providing cash.
He was released on $100,000 bail for each count and the matter was adjourned until July 6 2018.
The matter was reported to police after the young girl allegedly confided to her grandmother that the accused had been interfering with her.
