The court heard that Balram, a labourer, on November 23, 2015 at Herstelling, East Bank Demerara, with intent to maim, disfigure or disable he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Ramesh Persaud, so as to cause actual grievous harm.
He pleaded not guilty to the offense and was placed on $75,000 bail. He is scheduled to make his next court appearance on December 07, before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan.
