Two children from Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne) died as a result of dengue last month.
This was revealed today at a meeting of the Regional Democratic Council (RDC).
One of the children who died has been identified as Lokesh Ibrahim.
The RDC was informed that for April alone, there were 332 cases of dengue recorded in the region.
