Wreath laying ceremony held in observance of death anniversary of LFS

On the 28 death anniversary of late President LFS Burnham a wreath laying ceremony was held today by the People’s National Congress Reform.

The ceremony was held at the Botanical Gardens, where Burnham’s remains were interred.

Chairman of the Burnham Foundation Vincent Alexander told the gathering that the late President contributed significantly to the development of Guyana.

Burnham became the first Executive President of Guyana in 1980 and served until his death in 1985.
