Woman granted bail for allegedly stealing cookies, Turkey Ham

[www.inewsguyana.com]Sarah Abell of Lot 126 West Ruimveldt Georgetown was placed on a total of $20,000 bail for stealing cookies, turkey ham and assaulting employees at Bounty Farm.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge which alleged that on December 4 at Bounty Farm Limited, Water Street Georgetown, she stole one tin of cookies and a pack of turkey ham together valued $4,382.

She also denied the second charge, which alleged that on the same day, she assaulted Michelle Pollard and Devon Tappin – two employees of Bounty Farm.

Police Prosecutor, Bharat Mangru did not object to bail and the case will call again, on January 14.
