West Coast Berbice family homeless after fire

The Guyana Police Force and the Guyana Fire Service are probing the circumstances which led to a fire that left at least five persons homeless at Paradise, West Coast Berbice.
The fire started at approximately 9:45am in the house which is a wooden structure. The owner of the house, identified as Marissa Hutson, arrived on the scene a few minutes after the blaze started.
An inconsolable Hutson said that she lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in the blaze.
A fire official told INews that a full investigation will be held into the matter.
