[www.inewsguyana.com] – Two men are still missing after their speed boat collided with another on the Mazaruni River on Saturday evening, December 12, while two others are recovering at the Bartica Hospital.
The missing men have been identified as Roy Roopnaraine and Trevor Persaud, who are both residents of Itaballi, Cuyuni/Mazaruni. Commander of the ‘F’ Division, Senior Superintendent, Ravindradat Budhram confirmed that the search is still on for the men.
iNews understands that an officer from the Maritime Administration Department has been sent to the scene to conduct an investigation.
