A 19-year-old teenager was, earlier today, slapped with a murder charge when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrates’ court.
Adrian John, of Gold Mine, Matthews Ridge (Barima/Waini) was not allowed to plea to the indictable charge which alleged that on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Perseverance Backdam, he murdered Merville Williams.
The matter was transferred to the Matthews Ridge Magistrates’ Court where the defendant will appear on October 3, 2016. (Ramona Luthi)
