Guyanese singer-songwriter and visual artist Jackie Jaxx has launched a new website, www.jackiejaxx.com, bringing her music, original art, apparel and professional services together in one online destination.
Visitors can explore Jackie’s creative work, shop her music and clothing, and contact her directly about bookings and other opportunities. Customers worldwide can shop through the website, while physical products will be available in Guyana at a later date. Jaxx has also connected her shop to Facebook and Instagram, where audiences can browse her offerings.
In Guyana, artists’ income is often closely tied to performance bookings. With a combined social media following of 46,300, Jackie Jaxx is developing additional commercial pathways for her creative work through her website and connected social shops, helping her work reach customers and generate income throughout the year.
The launch reflects Jackie’s approach to independent artistry: building the infrastructure to support a multidisciplinary creative business. Her website connects direct sales, social commerce and her professional services, creating ways for audiences and clients to support different areas of her work.
“I wanted to create a place where people could experience the various art forms I practice and support me,” said Jackie. “As an independent artist, I’m always looking for new ways to earn, protect, monetize and export my creative value. This website is an important step in that direction.”
Jackie Jaxx is also the founder and creative director of Topside Music House, an independent music and production company offering music production, publishing, distribution and merchandising.
