[www.inewsguyana.com] – Several teams recorded wins last weekend in the Guyana Table Tennis Association league.
Held on Saturday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, the event saw firstly in the ‘B’ Class, Table tennis Academy “A” inclusive of Warren Hackshaw, Elishaba Johnson and Sunil Logan beat Blue Thunder “B” (Patrick Triumph, Jurome Mitchell and Roy Mcclennon) 3-0.
Table Tennis Academy “A” also defeated Blue Thunder “A” (Remy Taitt, Devon Richmond And Vernon Rodrigues) 3-1.
In the other ‘B’ Class match, Malteenoes sports club “A” (Shemar Britton, Jeremey Singh And Kyle Edghill) pummeled the Blue Thunder “B” side 3-1.
Malteenoes Sports club “A” (Shemar Britton, Chelsea Edghill and Kyle Edghill ) beat Maltenoes sports club “B” (Kevin Prass, Kevon Corbin and Kristoff Sukhoo) 3-0.
In the “C” class the team of Terrence Rausch, Khalil Ninvalle and Kristie Lopes who represent Table Tennis Academy “A” punished the Bank Of Guyana “A” (Cleveland Davson, Imran Khan and Leonardo) 3-1.
The Table Tennis Academy also beat of a unit with Romario Hemraj, Jamal Persaud And Jamol Dasilva under the name of under the name of central high 3-0.
Table Tennis Academy “B” (Kayson Ninvalle, Amit Mookram and Brittney Bunbury) defeated Central High “A” 3-0.
The league will continue on Monday, March 17 at the National Gymnasium.
