Another intense rainstorm swept through Kako Village earlier today, leaving behind damages to community infrastructure and homes.

Three community sports pavilions bore the brunt of the storm’s force, with the roof of one structure ripped away and hurled several meters across the school’s grounds.

The storm also impacted several households, with one home suffering visible structural damage after a supporting post was wrecked. At least five households are reported as being affected by the storm.

While no injuries were reported, these extreme weather events can potentially prove injurious in the future. The village will consider seeking support to repair the damaged facilities and ensure the safety of affected families.

Only last month, a thunderous storm injured a family during the night.
