[www.inewsguyana.com] – Forty – eight – year old Riburn Fraser of Manatee Place, South Ruimveldt, Georgetown was shot about his body on Sunday, January 25, after being attacked by two men at his residence.
According to the police, the incident occurred at about 00:10hrs when Fraser was about to enter his residence. The perpetrators, one of whom was armed with a firearm, took away a total of $800,000 along with a quantity of foreign currency and documents from Fraser and his female friend.
The men then made good their escape. Fraser has been admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation for medical treatment.
