Several persons were Friday injured in an accident at Long Creek, Linden- Soesdyke Highway when the minibus they were travelling in reportedly careened off the highway.
It is unclear what caused the accident however the minibus was said to be transporting persons to a football game in Georgetown at the time of the incident.
It is also unclear how many persons were injured, however hospital officials indicated that numerous persons are have been treated mainly for minor lacerations.
