Another death has been recorded from the novel coronavirus as of Tuesday – a 66-year-old female from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica). This takes the death toll to 209.
According to the Health Ministry, the elderly woman died while receiving treatment at a medical facility after she was tested positive.
The last death was recorded on Monday – an 89-year-old woman from Region Three (Essequibo Islands-West Demerara). The elderly woman would have died while receiving care at a medical facility.
All Guyanese are reminded to observe the protocols of the COVID-19 EMERGENCY MEASURES (NO.15), which are in effect until March 31, 2021.
