A prisoner at the New Amsterdam Prison was busted with 7 grams of cannabis (ganja).
The illegal drug was found on Sunday when the inmate was seen acting in a suspicious manner. A search was conducted and the illegal substance found in a bag he was carrying. Reports are the Police were called in and the prisoner told ranks that a female prison officer took the drug into the prison and placed it in a bucket by a sink for him to uplift.
