Returning Officer for Region Six has declared the results of the General and Regional Elections for that voting district.
Based on the declared results, the PPP/C has won the region.
In the general elections, the PPP/C earned 41,320 votes while the APNU received 6,223, and the AFC 315 while WIN got 12,623 and FGM 137 and ALP 132.
In the regional elections, the PPP/C secured 41,014 while the APNU got 6,251, the AFC 306 and the WIN, 12,580. FGM received 355 while ALP got 122.
