Trevlon Marcieo Henry called “Mario”, a 28-year-old pork knocker of Port Kaituma, North West District, was fatally chopped during an argument.
The incident occurred on Saturday, October 17, 2026, about 10:50h at Eyelash Landing, North West District.
Based on preliminary investigations, Henry and the 33-year-old suspects are both pork knockers and were known to each other.
The men were imbibing when an argument reportedly erupted between them during which the suspect armed himself with a cutlass and dealt Henry two chops, one to his neck and another to his right arm, before fleeing the area.
Henry subsequently collapsed and remained motionless.
After a report was made, police ranks, accompanied by a Medex, visited the location, where Henry was examined and pronounced dead. His body was subsequently escorted to the Matthews Ridge Hospital Mortuary, where it awaits a post-mortem examination.
Following the incident, police ranks, assisted by public-spirited persons, conducted searches in the area, during which the 33-year-old suspect, also of Port Kaituma, was apprehended.
He remains in Police custody as investigations continue.
