Police investigation into Colwyn Harding’s alleged rape complete

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Commissioner of Police Leroy Brumell on Tuesday afternoon (January 21) told iNews that police investigations into the alleged rape of 23 – year – old Colwyn Harding while in police custody has been completed.

At the time the Top Cop was not in a position to divulge the details of the investigation but noted that its contents will be made public soon.

Brumell at a recent press conference had given Tuesday as the deadline for the completion of the investigation.

Harding had accused Police Constable Singh of forcing a baton covered with a condom up his anus while a prisoner at the Timerhi lockups between November 15 – 18, 2013.
