Prime Minister Brigadier Mark Phillips yesterday met with the families of the brutally murdered teens: 16-year-old Isaiah Henry and 19-year-old Joel Henry of Number Three West Coast Berbice (WCB).

The PM, and his delegation which included Home Affairs Robeson Benn, Minister Human Services and Social Security Dr Vindhya Persaud, Security Advisor to the Minister of Home Affairs Harry Gill, were first met with resistance from the crowd of supporters.

However, the team spent some time on the road listening to the concerns of the residents and urged them to conduct their protests peacefully.

When they finally made it to the families of the slain teens, the governmental representatives assured that no stones will be left unturned in the police investigation into the crime.

Already, seven persons are in custody and police are pursuing three more individuals.
