Plane crashes at Ogle during attempted take-off

unnamed[www.inewsguyana.com] – iNews has confirmed that a Cessna 206 aircraft crashed at the Ogle International Airport, Ogle, East Coast Demerara moments ago.

An airport official said the plane, destined for the interior was about to take-off when the accident occurred. He could not say immediate what led to the unfortunate situation.

One person is reported to have suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital to seek medical attention.

The source could not say which airline the aircraft belonged to; iNews has learnt however that the pilot’s name is Seecharran.
