[www.inewsguyana.com] – The police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 00:05hrs on Friday (December 20) at Liliendaal on the Railway Embankment and which resulted in the death of 39 – year – old Osnah Jordan of Industry, East Coast Demerara.
Investigations revealed that Jordan was a passenger in a motor car (PNN 4182) travelling along the roadway, when the driver of another motor car (PPP 1802) which was travelling in the opposite direction, allegedly at a fast rate, lost control of the vehicle and collided head-on with PNN 4182.
The driver of PPP1802 is said to have fled the scene. Jordon received injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival at the Georgetown Public Hopsital.
