National Assembly to provide live stream of all parliamentary business

[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Parliament office of Guyana will on Friday, January 31 sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Canadian Government to implement the Parliamentary Live Streaming Project.

According to a release from the office “in a rapid evolving technological era, the Parliament of Guyana is cognizant of the need to use necessary means available to showcase the Parliament to the Guyanese public in the interest of greater accountability and transparency.”

This partnership will see provision of transmission, via the Internet, of live streaming of all parliamentary business: Sittings, Committee meetings and other parliamentary-related activities.
