National Assembly passes motion reaffirming Guyana’s sovereignty despite Opposition’s non-support

Empty seats on the Opposition's side as the National Assembly passed a motion today to reaffirm Guyana's sovereignty

Despite the absence of the parliamentary Opposition, whose members walked out of the National Assembly this morning after refusing to lend support, the motion to reaffirm Guyana’s sovereignty over its Essequibo territory was passed by the House this afternoon.
