The Ministry of Public Infrastructure has advised that, following emergency works yesterday, the MV Canawaima is ready to resume operations today. The vessel, which plies the Guyana to Suriname route, will depart as per schedule at 11:00hrs. Check-in time will be from 07:00hrs to 10:00hrs this morning.
The management of the Canawaima Ferry Service Incorporated wishes to thank the members of the general public, particularly those who might have been affected by the disruption, for their patience and cooperation.
