[www.inewsguyana.com] – Days of searching ended tragically for a Berbice family when the body of 56 – year – old Mohamed Fizal Baksh was found on the foreshore at the No.63 Village, Corentyne.

Police confirmed that the body of the businessman, who resided at Crabwood Creek, was discovered at approximately 7:00 hrs on Thursday, December 24, 2015.

iNews understands that a post mortem examination was done by Pathologist Dr. Vivekanand Brijmohan who gave the cause of death as haemorrhage and shock due to a fractured skull.

Baksh had been reported as missing on December 21, 2015; he was last seen by relatives at around 08.05 hrs on Monday last, when he reportedly received a call indicating that some elderly people wanted to change some foreign currency. He had indicated that he would be back in two hours.

The family became worried when calls to his mobile phone went unanswered and adding to their fears is the fact that a young man who had reportedly told the money-changer about the ‘clients’ also appears to be missing.
