A Mechanic was today remanded to prison for assault and simple larceny. Thirty – Seven – year old Dobby Doman of Agricola, East Bank Demerara pleaded not guilty to both charges.
The court was told that on August 3 at Agricola, Doman assaulted his reputed wife Kathia Satteur. The accused told the Magistrate that the woman, who is the mother of his children, normally violates him because of his children.
The man also said that the woman’s father do not like him. The Magistrate remanded Doman until September 06. [Royan Abrams]
