Mason accused of threatening ‘children mother’

A mason was today placed on $15,000 bail and bonded to keep the peace until the termination of a threatening language charge when he appeared before Magistrate Faith Mc Gusty.

Thirty – nine – year old Sherwin Johnson of Joseph Pollydore Street, Lodge pleaded not guilty to the offence which he allegedly committed against the mother of his children, Sharon Jacobs.

The Court was told that on July 11 at Durban Street Lodge, the accused made used of threatening language against the woman. The police prosecutor did not object to bail and Johnson is to make his next court appearance on July 26 for trial. [Royan Abrams]
