The lifeless body of an unidentified man was discovered on the Lochaber, West Canje, New Amsterdam Public Road early this morning by a pedestrian.
Reports to Inews indicate that at approximately 07:00 hrs today, a pedestrian noticed the man lying on the road and raised an alarm resulting in the Police being summoned.
The body of the man was transported to the New Amsterdam Mortuary for an autopsy to be conducted.
Eyewitnesses are speculating that the man was killed and dumped at the location since his body seemed “to have been punctured by a gunshot wound.”
An investigation has since been launched.
