La Penitence man remanded for threatening to burn brother’s house

DSC05141Fifty – three – year old Anthony Clark of Middle Road La Penitence Georgetown was today charged with threatening behaviour and threatening language.

Clark pleaded not guilty to both offences. It is alleged that on August 28 at Middle Road La Penitence he committed both offences against his

brother Collin Hoenkirk. Police prosecutor Seon Blackman objected to bail noting that both offences are serious and that the accused and

complainant reside at the same address.

The prosecutor also disclosed that the accused threatened to chop the complainant and burn his home. The Magistrate refused bail and

Clark will make his next court appearance on September 03.[Royan Abrams]
