Intruder nabbed by woman & children after breaking into Essequibo Coast home

A 38-year-old man was on Monday detained and handed over to the police after he broke into a house at Lima Sand Road, Essequibo Coast in Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam).

According to the Guyana Police Force, the intruder intended to “commit a felony”.

However, he was caught by the female homeowner and her two children, and handed over to the police.

The suspect reportedly resides in the same community.

He is in police custody assisting with an investigation.
