The driver of motorcar PLL 7365, has been identified as 22-year-old Sherwin James, a resident of Moblissa Village, Soesdyke-Linden Highway.
One of the occupants of the motorcar, Alex (only name known at this time), also succumbed to injuries he received as a result of the accident.
The remains of both deceased (Sherwin James and Alex) were taken to the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, awaiting post mortem examinations.
Additionally, a breathalyser test conducted on the 61-year-old driver of the lorry showed no trace of alcohol.
