Increase in fast food outlets affects healthy eating in Guyana – iNews Poll

Pie chart[www.inewsguyana.com] – Eighty one percent of iNews readers believe that healthy eating is being affected by the increase in fast food joints in the country.

During the week, an iNews poll asked, “Do you think that the proliferation of fast food shops will affect healthy eating?”

In response, 81 percent of readers voted yes, 18 percent voted no and a mere one percent was undecided.

Over the years, Guyana has seen a major increase in the establishment of a number of fast food outlets not only in the capital city but across the country.
