In a statement the company noted that its new branch will be located at Lot 212 Barr Street & Stanley Place, Kitty.
This branch will provide all insurance needs inclusive of Motor, Fire, Life & Travel Insurances.
Additionally, customers wishing to uplift their free insurance for travel to Suriname can also do so at this new branch.
The company noted that “the Hand-in-Hand Mutual Fire Insurance Company is celebrating its 150th Anniversary this year, and the opening of this new branch is just one of the many planned activities.”
Hand-in-Hand Mutual Fire Insurance Company Limited is the oldest property insurer in Guyana.
It is a mutual company established in 1865 and it is the founding member of the Hand-in-Hand Group of Companies.
The company was the first indigenous insurance company and holds the distinction of being the most dominant Property Insurer in Guyana.
