…third person arrested
A husband and wife along with another person was on Thursday taken into custody following the discovery of a quantity of ganja and cocaine at house in Golden Grove, East Bank Demerara.
The discovery was made by members of the Police Narcotics Branch after they swooped down on a house at the Block “Y” Golden Grove, East Bank Demerara house.
Inews was informed that during the search, ranks found 29 grams of cocaine along with 990 grams of cannabis. At the time of the operation, three persons were at home and as such, they were arrested and are assisting the police with the investigations.
