[www.inewsguyana.com] – A girl’s life was sniffed out mere moments before ushering in the New Year (2014).
Police say they are investigating the murder of 20 – year – old Carlissa Matthews of North Ruimveldt, Georgetown which occurred at about 23:45hrs on Tuesday (December 31) at Water Street, Georgetown.
According to police initial investigations have revealed that Matthews and a man with whom she shared a relationship had a misunderstanding earlier. She was standing on Water Street when the man came up and shot her to her head and escaped.
He has not been arrested as yet.
